#Make-It Monday / All Purpose Anti-Bacterial Spray

Hi there! Welcome to Make-It Monday! Have a seat, get comfortable, and get ready to be inspired and ready to integrate easy natural products into your home :)

Join me in this journey of integrating everyday EASY DIY recipes, tips, and tricks to into our home to help support everyday natural health and wellness.

Today's Make-it Monday is one that I use absolutely ALL THE TIME! AND..... It is so stinkin' easy! Wahoo!

Today for your #Make-it Monday DIY we are doing a simple all purpose spray. I chose this one as one of our first recipes because it truly is a wonderful NATURAL resources and it gets the job done with it's anti-bacterial powers. I also love this because it is such a versatile tool that can be used in many rooms, it uses only 3-4 ingredients, AND it smells like fall in a bottle (my absolute favorite time of the year).

If you have littles, or even big kids, sometimes even just if you are by yourself making all the messes, we NEED some heavy cleaning action.

This natural all purpose spray uses 3 simple ingredients:

*Vinegar

*Distilled Water

*Essential oils of choice

Vinegar - this product is a household staple and can be used in cooking, cleaning, degreasing, and even killing weeds. With it's antimicrobial and antibacterial properties it makes a great cleaning agent for non-porous surfaces. DO NOT use this product on natural stone or wood as it will slowly break down the sealing agents for these surfaces.

product is great for Formica countertops, porcelain sinks, tubs and toilets, a great de-scaler for faucets, even for tile. I personally use this on my counters as they are non-porous and have been blown away at the cleaning power of this product.

Essential Oils - I seriously could go on and on about my passion and love for essential oils and how they are superheroes in a bottle - oh wait, I have :) Check this post out to see why essential oils are the "bomb diggity".... sorry guys, my age is showing :) For this recipe we will be using essential oils that are supercharged with the best antibacterial agents, which there are several - so you can always change it up depending on the season to make your room spray reflect the current season you are in :)

For you visual learners - Here is a video for you that shows you one of my favorite all time recipes for the all purpose spray - AND it is so simple I don't even have to say a word! Pretty Cool!

FYI- No, I am not a professional movie star ;), No, I am not a professional social media or web designer. I am a simple mom, wife, teacher, and lover of all things natural that simply just wants to share amazing things with you to help you in this natural journey too. So any goof ups you see or unprofessional videos - that is just me being real you guys - and I would not have it any other way :)

Not a visual learner - I got you! I love reading things for myself too!

Natural All Purpose Spray

8 oz distilled vinegar

8 oz distilled water

30 drops Guardian essential oil

(essential oils can be interchanged and/or omitted depending on your scent preferences - just make sure you have 30 total drops of oil / I also LOVE also using a blend of Guardian and Sweet Orange)

Add vinegar and water to the spray bottle, then add oils. Place sprayer on and gently shake to blend oils with vinegar and water. Spray counters, toilets, windows and any other non-porous surface you have in your home :) DO NOT use it on limestone, marble, or wood floors as the vinegar will slowly degrade the sealant used on the product.

Want to know other oils that you can easily integrate for their anti-bacterial purposes? These are my top 5 suggested oils for health and wellness support. Any of these would be a great switch-a-roo for you.

There you have it friends. A simple, easy, NATURAL DIY that you can easily and safely use to integrate natural cleanliness into your home today! Enjoy the making and be sure to let me know your favorite scents as you create your own favorite blend of smells for this all purpose spray!
